Candice then spends time speaking to Shaun-Lee’s wife, Trudie, about how they met, and how being a husband and father has changed him. She also meets with some of his oldest friends, who share their own stories about Shaun-Lee.

Candice Morgan and the DTV team visited Mauritius last year. One of their stops was at the Bienvenue School of the Deaf, the only school of the Deaf in Mauritius. All the children in the school wear hearing aids, which are provided free of charge by the audiology centre right next to the school.
